Appetizers

Cajun Seafood Filé Gumbo - Delicious dark roux gumbo with shrimp, crab, and Holy Trinity of vegetables spiced just right and topped with rice. By the Cup or Bowl.

Oyster and Artichoke Soup - Salty bayou oysters sautéed with the trinity of vegetables, onions, bell pepper and celery, then blended with plump artichoke hearts and fresh cream spiced just right. By the Cup or Bowl.

Fried Green Tomatoes - Lightly fried to golden brown, topped with crawfish tails, Hollandise sauce, and grated parmesan cheese.

Fried Calamari - Accompanied with cocktail sauce.

Fried Crab Fingers - Fresh blue claw Gulf crab fingers fried golden brown and accompanied with cocktail sauce.

Marinated Crab Fingers - Fresh blue claw Gulf crab fingers marinated in Chappy's Creole marinade with Vidalia onions.

Shrimp Remoulade - Boiled fresh Gulf shrimp piled on a bed of lettuce, topped with tangy remoulade sauce.

The Classic Shrimp Cocktail or Jumbo Crabmeat Cocktail - Jumbo boiled fresh Gulf shrimp, or crabmeat accompanied with cocktail sauce. Individually priced.

Raw Oyster Cocktail - by the 1/2 or full dozen.

Smoked Salmon - Amber smoked Canadian Sockeye Salmon served with capers and sour cream.

Escargot en Bordelaise -Succulent Halifax escargot sautéed in butter, green onions and garlic.

Oysters 2-2-2 - Baked bayou oysters of 2-Chappy's, 2-Bienville, and 2-Rockefeller.

Seafood Lovers Classics

Seafood Platter - A taste of it all with lightly fried shrimp, oysters, scallops, catfish and soft shell crab. Also available broiled or sautéed.

Shrimp Platter - Fresh Gulf jumbo shrimp lightly fried to golden brown.

Scallop Platter - Plump sea scallops lightly fried to perfection. Available fried or broiled.

Oyster Platter - Bayou salty oysters lightly fried till they’re crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Soft Shell Crab - Twin, fat, fresh Gulf soft shells lightly fried and topped with a delicious lemon butter Almondine sauce.

Catfish Platter - Filet of Mississippi Delta catfish lightly fried to golden brown.

Trout Meuniére - Fresh filets of Gulf speckled trout lightly fried and topped with a lemon butter Meuniére sauce. Also available broiled.

Trout Almondine - Fresh filets of Gulf speckled trout lightly fried and topped with almonds and Chappy’s special lemon and herb sauce. Also available broiled.

Beef, Veal, Lamb & Sausages

“The” Steak Filet - Tenderloin filet of beef, charbroiled to your satisfaction and served with stuffed potato, French fries or vegetable. Available in 6 oz., 8 oz., 11 oz., or 16 oz.

Chappy’s Thick Cut Prime Rib - Thick cut of Roast Prime Rib grilled and returned to the au jus with choice of potato or vegetable. Also available blackened.

Veal Bayou Caddy - A classic dish. Golden medallion of Provimi milk-fed baby veal crowned with shrimp, crabmeat, and mushrooms topped with Hollandaise accompanied by maMAma's shrimp and eggplant.

Betty’s Paneéd Veal and Pasta - Sliced Provimi milk-fed baby veal dusted with Italian bread crumbs and sautéed in butter and lemon and served with Pasta Bordelaise.

Auderer’s Stuffed Steak - Thick cut of filet of beef grilled to perfection and topped with sautéed lump crabmeat with vegetable or potato.

Veal Alexander - Filet tenderloin of milk-fed veal grilled with crabmeat stuffing topped with Hollandaise and accompanied with asparagus.

Mardi Gras Lamb Chops - Tender grilled lamb chops, basted with garlic, served with mint jelly on a bed of Rice Du Jour and accompanied by maMAma's shrimp and eggplant and sweet and sour cabbage.

Veal Broussard - Filet Tenderloin of milk-fed baby veal, braised in butter topped with demi-glacé and flamed with cherry brandy and accompanied with asparagus Hollandaise.

Chappy’s Mixed Grill - Bountiful combination of Quail, Andouille Sausage and Steak fllet grilled to perfection and served on a bed of Rice Du Jour with grill sauce and Hollandaise for dipping.

Blackened Porterhouse Pork Chop -Served with Shrimp Hollandaise, a stuffed potato and Mardi Gras Vegetable.

Grilled Venison Bernaise - Served on herbed sautéed mushrooms, Rice Du Jour and Mardi Gras Vegetable.

World-Famous Trout Long Beach - Fresh filet of Gulf speckled trout lightly fried and topped with shrimp, mushrooms, crab and cream sauce and served with a stuffed potato.

Trout Supreme - Fresh filet of Gulf speckled trout lightly fried and topped with a sauté of shrimp, crab, mushrooms and herbs served with a stuffed potato and topped with Hollandaise.

Grilled Red Snapper - Gulf Red Snapper marinated and grilled, spiced just right and served on a bed of Rice Du Jour. Available as grilled, broiled, fried, or with crabmeat.

Blackened Redfish - Marinated in butter, sprinkled with Cajun spices and pan fried to perfection and served with maMAma's shrimp and eggplant.

Stuffed Flounder - Bountiful filet of fresh flounder broiled and topped with crabmeat stuffing with choice of potato or vegetable.

Fried Flounder Supreme - Fresh filet of boneless Gulf flounder lightly fried and topped with a sauté of shrimp, crab, mushrooms and herbs served with a stuffed potato and topped with Hollandaise.

Pacific Coast Salmon - Fresh loins of salmon grilled with crawfish and topped with Hollandaise sauce and served with a stuffed potato.

Grilled Swordfish - Served with garlic Meuniére and a stuffed potato. Also available blackened.

Grilled Tuna Steak - Served with garlic Meuniére and a stuffed potato. Also available blackened.

All Entreé selections include a crispy garden salad with a choice of dressing

Grilled Quail Abita Springs - Twin, partially deboned young quail, marinated and grilled to perfection, served on a bed of Rice Du Jour with Chappy’s special sauce for dipping.

Duck Breast le Cherry - Broiled boneless and skinless double breast of duck topped with crabmeat and flamed with cherry brandy and served with Rice Du Jour.

Chicken Ship Island - Marinated then grilled, a boneless and skinless double breast of chicken, spiced up just right and served on a bed of Rice Du Jour.

Chicken Pontalba - Double breast broiled in Italian bread crumbs and topped with lump crabmeat Almondine and Meuniére sauce. Served with a stuffed potato.

Gasten Point Blackened Chicken - Spicy double breast of pan-blackened chicken accompanied by maMAma’s shrimp and eggplant.

Le Petite Chickee - “Certified” “Low Cal” “Low Cholesterol” Skinless and boneless double breast of chicken lightly dusted with bread crumbs and broiled with a dab of no cholesterol margarine and served with pasta and asparagus.


Gulf, Bayou, and Swamp Specialties

Grilled Barbecue Spice Shrimp - A beautiful selection of fresh, jumbo, Gulf shrimp, marinated and topped with spices, crabmeat, and seved on a bed of Rice Du Jour.

Chappy’s Sautéed Shrimp - Gulf shrimp sautéed in butter, garlic, green onions and herbs of thyme, basil, and oregano, mushrooms, white wine and served on a bed of pasta topped with grated Parmesan. Can be substituted with oysters or scallops.

Stuffed Shrimp Pontchartrain - Jumbo broiled Gulf shrimp with crabmeat stuffing in Meuniére with choice of vegetable or potato.

Honey Island Swamp Frog Legs - Three pairs of lightly fried monster size frog legs topped with Almondine sauce with a choice of vegetable or potato.

Soft Shell Crab Louié - 2 fat soft shells lightly fried and topped with a sauté of shrimp and crab, mushrooms and herbs topped with Hollandaise and choice of vegetable or potato.

Chappy’s Steak and Lobster - Broiled lobster tail with crabmeat stuffing, and filet tenderlion of beef cooked to your order, with Grand Marnier carrots and stuffed potato and melted butter for dipping.
