John Michael Montgomery (born January 20, 1965 in Danville, Kentucky) is an award-winning country singer who was highly successful in the 1990s with a string of top 10 hit singles. His songs include "Life's a Dance", "I Can Love You Like That", "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)", "I Swear" (which was covered by the pop group All 4 One), "Friends", "Rope the Moon" and "The Little Girl".
His brother Eddie Montgomery is half of the country duo Montgomery Gentry.
