Parker places the flamethrower on the table and says "we found this laying there..... no blood.....no Dallas"

 

Ripley says unless someone has a better idea, we should continue with Dallas's plan.

 

Lambert makes it clear that she thinks that is suicide, she doesn't want to end up like the others.

 

"Have you got a better idea?"

 
"Yes, I think that we abandon this ship, we get the shuttle and get the hell out of here, we take our chances and just hope that somebody picks us up."

 
Ripley gets a near hysterical Lambert to calm down then tells her that her plan wont work because the shuttle wont take four.

 
Ripley wants to talk about killing the alien, Parker has heard enough talk and wants to go ahead and kill it now.  She snaps at him "WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME PARKER?...... SHUT UP!!"

 
She explains that they will move in pairs, cut off every bulkhead and every vent then blow it the f*** out into space.

 
Ripley wants to know if there's any suggestions from Ash or Mother.

 
He says they are still collating.  She finds that hard to believe and tells him to continue doing what he's been doing all along.... Nothing.

 
Now she is in command she has access to Mother and will get her own answers.  Ash knows she is right and gives her a sarcastic salute.

 
Parker goes to re-fuel one of the flamethrowers.

 
Ripley goes to have a chat with Mother.

 
She asks a few questions, and gets a few answers.

 

 
Not very helpful.

 
Ash has secret directives?

 
Ripley just has to know.

 
She is getting upset that there are orders kept from the rest of the crew.  She needs to know what those orders are now!

 
She finds out.

 

 
Ripley cannot believe what she has just read,  This explains why Ash is not very helpful.

 
Ash had quietly come in behind her.  Calmly, he says "There is an explanation for all this you know"
