HISTORIC POSTEX MILL

Old Mill Trade Days opened its gates for business on April 28, 1994. Located at the Historic Postex Mill, where the buildings date back to 1913, where C.W. Post started producing millions of the famous "Garza" sheets. Trade Days occupies over 100,000 square feet of the original Postex Mill. Most of Trade Days' Vendors setup inside two of those famous buildings. However, other Vendors choose to display their wares in outside spaces and freestanding buildings within the Park. A large portion of the 50-acre site also offers free parking on the south, west and north sides of the Park.

 

Since opening, Old Mill Trade Days has grown, expanded and now boasts an annual attendance that exceeds 40,000 visitors and 200 Vendors per event. Trade Days has become one of the foremost events in the Texas panhandle and eastern New Mexico. Trade Days is a fun place to visit, offering character & atmosphere that takes on an Old West theme, which is enhanced by the Vendors storefronts & displays. You can stroll down each street and shop until your hearts content.

Old Mill Trade Days is a monthly event scheduled the first weekend (Fri., Sat., & Sun.) of each month. The park is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults and children 10 and under, accompanied by an adult, get in free. Independent vendors, from TX, OK, CO, MO and NM, offer a wide diversity of merchandise including antiques, collectibles, arts & crafts, furniture, clothing, jewelry and new gift items. Merchandise that you could not find at a mall and at bargain prices, too. You can also treat yourself to the best food in west Texas. Our unique shopping mall is a great meeting place for friends and family. During each Event, we also feature local talent live on our outdoor stage.
