Jackson Square

The girls strike a pose on Jackson Square. in the heart of the French Quarter This part of the square is always full of tables with interesting looking characters willing to read your palm or tell you your future using tarot cards. There is also a band playing under the immobile, but watchful eye of street mimes.

In the distance is the Central Buiness Distict, only a few blocks away. To the right is the Cabildo, the state museum and the St. Louis Cathedral. To the left is the open courtyard containing the famous statue of Andrew Jackson on horseback.
