This week's computer and video games improvement drive is a weekly collaboration to improve non-stub computer and video game articles to featured article status much alike this week's improvement drive. (For stub articles or topics with no articles, see Collaborations of the week.) The parent of this page is the WikiProject Computer and video games.

/History - For past winners. /Removed - For removed nominations.

Nomination and Voting

Computer and video game articles to be improved can be nominated by registered users in the "nominations" section below, with an explanation of what work is needed. To nominate an article, you can copy the template that you will find as a comment in the page when you edit it. Please do not nominate articles involved in edit wars.

Each Sunday, the article with the most support votes is chosen. Opposing votes are not counted; see approval voting. You can vote for as many articles as you like. Articles need three votes per week to stay on the list. Beginning with articles nominated in August, articles will need four votes a week to stay on the list of active nominations.

Please do us all a favour: When you vote, update the vote count in the subhead at the same time. If you're feeling generous, check to see if you've put it over the "stays until" margin and update that line too, if needed.

Considerations for nominations

  • Giving reasons as to why an article should become the CVGI may convince others to cast their vote.
  • Can the wider gaming community easily contribute to the article? Or is it something only a small number of people will know about?
  • Make sure the article would not fare better in a Gaming Collaboration of the week or a CVG Peer Review?

Comments:

  • If you look at how much information is in this article, it's staggering. This article has been mercilessly edited by many, many IPs (I get a new edit every hour or so), as well as reg'd users. But, the article is composed entirely of lists. The way I see it, if we could convert all of these lists into paragraphs, merge sections, we could quite possibly have a very well-written article. Thoughts? -- gakon5 (talk)

Meteos
