The Alexandria Aces were a minor league baseball team in Alexandria, Louisiana. The team was a member of the Central Baseball League, and was an independent team, not affiliated with any Major League Baseball team.

The team played at Bringhurst Field.

The city of Alexandria lost the Aces franchise in the winter of 2003; the team is no longer in operation.

The team did win league titles while competing in the central league(it was then named the Texas-Louisiana League).

This incarnation was actually the Aces' third; the team started in the 1930s as a member of the old Evangeline League and ceased operations sometime in the early part of World War II. The Aces were revived (with the rest of the Evangeline League) after the war but once again ceased operations at some point in the 50s.

The team was revived again in the early 1970s as the San Diego Padres' AA farm club, and while it only lasted 4 years many major league notables passed through Alexandria, in particular All-Star pitcher Randy Jones and longtime Cleveland Indians first baseman John Grubb. Duke Snider also managed the team during this period.
