My First Visit Back Since Leaving The City in March of 1972

In March of 1972, I and most of my family left San Francisco to go back to West Virginia.

It was not until 1979 that I returned to San Francisco, driving there in a new Subaru DL Sedan. My soon-to-be lover, Ethel Moffat, joined me on the trip.

Since that trip in 1979, I have been back at least 11 times, three of them (1996, 2014, 2022) with my beloved wife Betsy. At the bottom of this page you will find a link to those other visits.

Most of the photos below are from the 1979 visit when on an outing to Corona Heights.

Seventeen years later, in 1996, Betsy and I took Miguel out for sushi.
