United States Highway 85 is a north-south United States highway that runs for 1,479 miles (2,380 km) from the Canadian border in North Dakota to the Mexican border in El Paso, Texas.

As of 2004, the highway's northern terminus is Fortuna, North Dakota, at the Canadian border. Its southern terminus is El Paso, Texas, at the Mexican border.
