Logo is a U.S. digital cable television channel owned by Viacom's MTV Networks division. Targeting programming aimed at lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) adults, it launched on June 30, 2005. The advertiser supported channel struck carriage deals prior to its launch date with DirecTV, Charter Communications, Adelphia, Cablevision, Time Warner Cable of New York City, and RCN. A deal with Comcast was reached after the launch date. Logo was available in an estimated 18 million homes as of September, 2005. Logo has partnered with CBS News to provide news briefs and has developed a relationship with LPI Media, publisher of The Advocate, Out, and The Out Traveler magazines.

In conjunction with Viacom and MTV Networks, Logo will feature more than 150 movie and documentary acquisitions and is currently in active development with more that 20 original projects.

  • 10 Count - Countdown show of music videos geared toward LGBT audiences.
  • Out on the Edge - a cabaret variety show hosted by actor/author Alan Cumming.
  • Round Trip Ticket - Travel series hosted by Will Wikle.
  • Noah's Arc- An original series featuring three African-American and one Latino gay man in California.
  • NewNowNext- A music video show for LGBT music fans; looks at everything that's current in the world of LGBT and LGBT-sensibility music.
