Interstate 12 (abbreviated I-12) is an intrastate interstate highway located entirely within the state of Louisiana, United States. It goes from Interstate 10 at Baton Rouge, Louisiana (map) to the intersection again with Interstate 10 and with Interstate 59 at Slidell, Louisiana ([1]). In 1993, the state legislature renamed Interstate 12 as the "Republic of West Florida Parkway".

Notes

  • As this highway is a loop of I-10, some think that it would be better as a three-digit Interstate (810 is the only number available) instead of I-12, or this route should be the I-10 mainline (as the through route) and the existing I-10 should be a three-digit Interstate and/or extensions of Interstates 55 and 59.
